    • Recording incidents and actions appropriately.
  2. Assessing Emergency Situations:

    • Conducting scene and primary surveys to identify immediate risks.
    • Determining the appropriate course of action based on the assessment.
  3. Administering First Aid to Unresponsive Casualties:

    • Performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) effectively.
    • Placing individuals in the recovery position and monitoring their condition.
    • Managing seizures safely.
  4. Managing Choking Incidents:

    • Identifying signs of mild and severe airway obstructions.

Practical Assessments:

Theory Assessment:

  • You will complete a multiple-choice question (MCQ) paper to assess your understanding of first aid principles and knowledge.

Successful completion of both assessments is required to achieve the qualification. 

Certification

Successful learners will receive a certificate for the Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF), valid for three years.
