Only reputable and appropriately qualified Training Providers are given access to the Essential Training Hub Platform. Before giving providers access to the system this preliminary evaluation is carried out to verify your credentials and suitability for delivery of the courses listed. Once you are given access to the site, our continuous monitoring of QA standards ensures that you meet high standards of delivery. Any Training Provider who cannot maintain high standards will not retain their position on our platform.
1. Terms of Use
ESS Training Hub Ltd will sell your products and services through the esstraininghub.co.uk website subject to the terms and conditions set out below. Please read these conditions carefully before proceeding. By using the esstraininghub.co.uk website you signify your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. Ending Your Access to the Platform or Services
We may issue a warning, temporarily suspend, permanently suspend, or terminate your access to this platform if you:
We may also temporarily suspend, permanently suspend, or terminate your right to use this platform and/or any of the services we offer if we make the decision to no longer provide access to the platform or any services. Where possible we will try to inform you of any relevant suspension or termination. We are not liable for returning any fees should this be the case.
3. Responsibility
As a training provider, you acknowledge that esstraininghub.co.uk acts as a “gateway” for the booking of your courses. You are required to provide and maintain your own terms and conditions relating to the services you offer. It is your responsibility to ensure that these terms and conditions are clearly communicated to and adhered to by the bookers.
4. Advertising Other Training Providers' Courses
You are strictly prohibited from advertising course dates provided by other training providers. All courses you advertise on the Essential Training Hub must be accredited and delivered by you under your own centre. This site is not designed as a resale model; it is a quality system aimed at training providers promoting their own courses. You must ensure that all advertised courses meet the required accreditation standards and that you are fully authorised to deliver these courses. Failure to comply with these terms may result in the removal of your courses from the platform and could lead to suspension or termination of your access to esstraininghub.co.uk.
5. Pricing and Quality Assurance
Training providers must ensure that the prices displayed on Essential Training Hub are consistent with those on their own websites, promoting fairness for all learners. We will conduct regular quality audits and spot checks on advertised courses. If a provider is found to be competing unfairly or misusing the platform, they will receive a formal request to correct the issue immediately along with a formal warning. A second violation could lead to suspension procedures, and depending on the severity, may result in termination of access.
6. Agreed Discounts and Exclusive Sales Reach
Our experienced sales team at ESS will actively promote your courses featured on the Essential Training Hub website to our extensive client network, providing you with additional sales opportunities as we support our national key accounts. Any discounts agreed upon with our sales team must be consistently offered for bookings made both through the Essential Training Hub platform and manually by our sales team outside of the system. This ensures uniformity and fairness in the promotions offered to bookers. We partner only with providers who meet our high standards of quality, ensuring mutual success and client satisfaction. Failure to honour agreed discounts across all booking methods may result in a review of our partnership.
7. Bookings - Contract of Sale
When a booking is made through esstraininghub.co.uk, an e-mail confirming receipt of the booking and its details will be sent to the booker. The booking represents an offer and payment directly to you, the training provider, for the purchase of your training course, which you must accept. You are responsible for sending a confirmation e-mail to the booker to confirm the course booking.
It is essential that you communicate all relevant course details, joining instructions, and associated information to the booker using the provided e-mail address. You must ensure that any changes to the booker's email address or other contact details are updated promptly to avoid communication issues.
In cases where the booking may not be successful, particularly if the course date is near, you should, wherever possible, offer an alternative that best matches the booker's requirements. However, the booker is not obliged to accept an alternative and may request a refund instead.
8. Payment Options
Bookings made through esstraininghub.co.uk must be guaranteed with a credit or debit card or one of the accepted payment options listed below. Payment will be sent directly to you, the training provider. The full payment will be deducted from the booker's card at the time of booking to secure the reservation.
All prices must be quoted in £GBP plus VAT.
We accept the following payment methods: Credit/Debit Card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Link, Klarna.
9. Stripe Connect / Card Transaction Fees
We use Stripe Connect to manage payments for all online bookings made through the Training Hub. This system automatically splits the payment, with our 20% commission going directly to us and your 80% payment transferred directly to your linked account. You will receive a link to set up a Stripe account, which will be connected to the Training Hub, allowing you to securely manage your payments and payouts.
As the training provider, you deal directly with the client, and our role is to bring new learners and clients to you. You are responsible for the transaction fees on the total booking amount, which are deducted before your 80% payment is transferred. Stripe supports various payment methods, including major cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Klarna, and more.
The transaction fees for Stripe are typically 1.5% + 20p, with some payment methods, such as Link, at a lower rate of 1.2% + 20p. These fees are automatically deducted from the total transaction amount, and you’ll receive the net payment after fees are applied.
Please note that all transaction fees are your responsibility as the payment recipient, as you are dealing directly with the client/learner.
10. Cancellations, Reschedules and Course Transfer Policy
All terms regarding cancellations, reschedules, and course transfers must be confirmed and agreed upon directly with the booker upon booking their course.
Should a training course be cancelled for any reason, you must promptly contact the booker to notify them and offer an alternative date or provide a refund.
If a booker wishes to cancel a course booking, they must notify you in writing. Course cancellations are subject to fees in accordance with your terms and conditions.
Bookers are advised that course transfers may be subject to an administration fee in addition to any cancellation fee arising from the transfer. Fees are normally calculated based on the notice given, the duration and accreditation of the course, and your specific terms and conditions.
Delegates who fail to complete all parts of the course may not be eligible for any refund or free transfer, although exceptions may apply due to individual circumstances at your discretion. This includes those attending virtual courses who experience equipment or internet issues.
Always ensure that the booker refers to your terms and conditions regarding the above policies.
11. Course and Event Information
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information relating to courses and events within the course Joining Instructions. esstraininghub.co.uk cannot be held responsible for any errors in this information, including but not limited to claims of approvals and accreditations outside of the esstraininghub.co.uk website. For virtual courses conducted online, you must provide bookers with login details to access the course. It is the booker's responsibility to ensure that their IT system is appropriate to connect to and access a virtual course.
Unless otherwise stated in a specific course overview, all delegates must be able to speak, write, and understand English.
12. Specific Course Requirements
Some courses may have very specific prerequisites or terms and conditions attached, such as required experience, qualifications, or health requirements for certain practical courses. For courses held at venues, there may also be specific prerequisites, such as venue requirements and standards, maximum delegate numbers, or requirements for the booker to supply plant, equipment, or materials for the course.
Where such prerequisites exist, you must clearly outline them in the general information and/or joining instructions relating to the course. It is essential to ensure that bookers are aware of these requirements before booking or accepting your terms and conditions.

14. Potential Weekend Bookings
If your offices are closed on weekends, you must ensure that any courses scheduled for the following working day are removed from the platform by the end of the preceding business day unless you are willing to operate out of hours and respond to the booker with course joining instructions. This is to prevent any bookings for the following week from being made over the weekend when your offices are not operational. Failure to do so may result in bookings being made that cannot be fulfilled, and you will be responsible for managing any issues arising from such bookings. Please ensure this is clear within your terms and conditions.
15. Quality of Service Provision

The purpose of these credit checks is to verify that your company is financially sound and capable of fulfilling its obligations to bookers.
ESS Training Hub Ltd reserves the right to perform these credit checks at any time and without prior notice.
