Terms and Conditions of Bookings

Essential Training Hub Ltd will sell products and services to you through the esstraininghub.co.uk website subject to the terms and conditions set out below. Please read these conditions carefully before using this website. By using the esstraininghub.co.uk website you signify your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.


Training Course Providers

esstraininghub.co.uk is a “gateway” to purchase the products and services of carefully selected and monitored training course providers subscribing to advertise their courses on the website.

All courses will be supplied by third party training providers who will have their own terms and conditions relating to the services they provide. It remains your responsibility to check and adhere to those terms and conditions for the delivery of the course.


Bookings - Contract of Sale

When you make a booking through esstraininghub.co.uk, you will be sent an e-mail confirming receipt of your booking and containing the details of your booking. Your booking represents an offer and payment directly to the training provider for purchase of their training course, which is accepted by the relevant training provider. You will receive an e-mail to confirm the course booking. It is essential that you provide a current e-mail address, which can be used to communicate with you on any matters relating to your booking and for the training provider to send your course joining instructions and associated information dependent upon the type of course booked. It is your responsibility to advise the training provider of any changes to your email address or other contact details.

There is a chance that your booking may not be successful, particularly if the course date is very near. Should your initial booking be unsuccessful, wherever possible, the training provider may offer an alternative to best match your requirements, but you are not obliged to accept an alternative, and instead request a refund.


Payment Options

Bookings made through our website must be guaranteed with a credit or debit card or one of the payment options below. Payment will be sent directly to the associated Training Provider. The full payment will be deducted from your card at the time of booking to secure your reservation. As a measure of fraud prevention, you will be required to enter the three digit Card Verification Value (CVV) printed on the back of your credit or debit card when making a booking online. All prices are quoted in £GBP plus VAT.

We accept payment via the following: Credit/Debit Card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Klarna.


Cancellations, Reschedules and Course Transfer Policy 

All terms will be confirmed and agreed directly with the relevant training provider upon booking your course.

Although rare, from time to time, training providers may need to cancel or reschedule courses. Should a training course be cancelled for any reason, you will be contacted by the training provider to notify and offer an alternative date or provide a refund.

If you wish to cancel a course booking, you must notify the training provider in writing. Course cancellations are subject to fees in accordance with the training providers terms.

Please note that course transfers may be subject to an administration fee in addition to any cancellation fee arising from the transfer. Fees are normally calculated on how much notice has been given, the duration and accreditation of the course and the individual training provider’s terms.

Delegates who fail to complete all parts of the course may not be eligible for any refund or free transfer, although exceptions may apply due to individual circumstances at the training provider’s discretion. This includes those attending virtual courses who experience equipment or internet issues.

Always refer to the training provider’s terms and conditions in reference to the above.


Course and Event Information

Information relating to courses and events within the course Joining Instructions is provided by the Training Provider. Essential Training Hub cannot be held responsible for any errors in this information, including but not limited to Providers claims of Approvals and Accreditations outside of the esstraininghub.co.uk website. Only courses advertised on our site have been accepted via the ESS Quality Assurance Team.

Refreshments and a light lunch may be provided on full day courses, but cannot be guaranteed, so please check your course joining instructions.

Course start times will be confirmed in joining instructions sent by the Training Provider.

Virtual courses are carried out online by our suppliers and you will be provided with login details to access the course. You are responsible for ensuring that your IT system is appropriate to connect to and access a Virtual course.

Unless otherwise stated in a specific course overview all delegates must be able to speak, write and understand English.


Specific Course Requirements

Some courses may have very specific prerequisites or terms and conditions attached, for example, specific experience or qualifications might be necessary for some courses and health requirements might exist for certain practical courses. For courses being held at venues there may also be specific prerequisites, such as venue requirements and standards, maximum delegate numbers or requirements for you to supply plant, equipment or materials for the course. Where such prerequisites exist they should be outlined in the general information and /or joining instructions relating to the course provided by the Training Provider, but ensure you are aware of these requirements before booking or accepting the Training Providers terms.


Quality of Service Provision

In using the esstraininghub.co.uk website you fully accept and understand that this is a gateway to third party training providers. Whilst ESS Training Hub Limited continuously monitors the quality of course being delivered by appointed Training Providers, we cannot directly assume any responsibility or liability for the actions, products and services of providers and any other third-parties. We will, however, support in resolving any quality issues arising from the use of our website to book your courses.

Issue of Certificates

Successfully achieved certification will be sent as an e-cert or otherwise as a document to the address you have provided to the Training Provider, in accordance with the guidelines of accrediting bodies and the Training Providers’ terms and conditions.

Candidates may be required by the Training Provider to pay an administration fee for a duplicate certificate; please refer to the Training Provider’s Terms and Conditions.


Privacy

We value your privacy and any personal information disclosed to us through the esstraininghub.co.uk website, over the telephone or in any other way will only be collected, stored and processed as set on in our Privacy Policy.


Website Licensing, Access and Use

Use of the esstraininghub.co.uk website includes, viewing the website, making bookings, reviewing bookings and changing bookings or transferring to links provided on the website. Any other use of the site requires written consent before use. You may only establish links to this website with prior written consent from ESS Training Hub Ltd.

The copyright of the material contained on the esstraininghub.co.uk website belongs to ESS Training Hub Ltd or its Training Providers, as appropriate.

By using the esstraininghub.co.uk website you agree not to access, monitor or copy information for your own commercial benefit or the benefit of another party or to use any data mining, robots, spiders, scrapers or other automated data gathering and extraction tools, without prior written permission. You also agree not to make any attempts to attack the infrastructure of the website.


Circumstances Beyond Our Control

We cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. These include (but are not limited to act of God, adverse weather conditions, fire, riot, war, terrorist activity (or threat of such activity), industrial dispute, natural disaster/or injuries and death of an individual(s) through accidental circumstances unconnected with us.

By making a booking you are accepting responsibility for any damage or loss caused by yourself or member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid to the Training Provider. If you fail to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any claims subsequently made (together with our own and the other party’s full legal costs) as a result of your actions.


Complaints

We strive to provide an excellent service and gateway to qualified and accredited Training Providers’, but if you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your service, we encourage you to communicate your concerns promptly. To initiate the complaints process, please contact the Training Provider directly to request a copy of their complaint’s procedure. They will guide you through the appropriate steps to address and resolve your issue in a timely manner.

At ESS Training Hub Ltd, we take customer feedback seriously and are committed to resolving any complaints efficiently and effectively. We value your input as it helps us continually improve our services and ensure the satisfaction of our customers.


Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Access is further conditional on your agreement that any dispute or matter which arises will be dealt with by the Courts of England and Wales only to the exclusion of the Courts of any other country.


Changes and Updates to these Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time, and the terms and conditions prevailing at the time of booking will apply. Continued use of the esstraininghub.co.uk website indicates your agreement to them and any subsequent amendments.
