Entry Requirements

This course is suitable for operatives and supervisors who have previously completed NRSWA training and need to renew their certification. Delegates should hold a valid or recently expired SWQR card. As this is an assessment-only course, prior experience and a solid understanding of street works practices are essential.

A good level of spoken and written English is also required to complete the multiple-choice assessments effectively.

Assessment

The NRSWA Reassessment only course is assessed through a series of timed, multiple-choice question papers, one for each unit being renewed.

Each assessment consists of 20 questions, and delegates must achieve an 80% pass mark per unit to successfully renew their certification.

This course does not include any refresher training, so it is recommended only for those with recent and relevant experience.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the NRSWA Refresher Course, participants will receive:

  • Streetworks Card: A new Streetworks card, valid for five years, demonstrating continued competence in performing street works according to NRSWA standards. This card is issued by the Street Works Qualifications Register (SWQR) and lists the refreshed units of competence achieved during the course.
  • Certificate of Competence: An official certificate from the awarding body (such as CABWI), confirming successful completion of the reassessment and renewal of the relevant NRSWA units.
