• Correctly route the SST cable down the pole to a jointing position.
• Install a CBT and External Line Module (ELM) on the pole in the correct position.
• Span ULW fibre (COF215) between poles.
• Fit an ULW fibre intermediate clamp.
• Correctly route ULW fibre down a pole.
• Secure ULW to the pole and correctly route the ULW fibre (COF215) onto the ELM.

These tasks are taught using the appropriate tools, equipment, and working practices to meet Openreach's quality standards.

To book onto this course, participants are generally required to have the following prerequisites:

• SA001 Overhead Safety certification
• SA051C TETRA certification
• NRSWA Streetworks Qualification Unit O1

Assessment for the N27 course consists of two components:
