What is the Working at Height Safety & Rescue Course?

The EUSR Working at Height Safety & Rescue course provides comprehensive training for personnel who are required to work safely at height and respond effectively in rescue situations.

This 2 day EUSR endorsed programme is designed to raise industry standards by delivering a recognised qualification combining theory, legislation, and practical rescue skills. Learners develop the knowledge and hands-on competence needed to operate safely in high-risk elevated environments and to assist in emergency rescue scenarios.

Course Content

Legislation, Regulations and Safe Systems of Work

  • Hierarchy of working at height controls

Rescue Planning and Practical Rescue Techniques

  • Rescue planning and emergency response requirements
  • Practical use of Constant Rate Descender rescue kits
  • Ladder and roof rescue scenarios
  • Casualty lowering from vertical structures and edges

How is this EUSR Working at Height Safety & Rescue course assessed?

Theory Assessment

Practical Assessment

Both elements must be successfully completed to achieve certification. 

Certification
