EUSR Working at Height Safety & Rescue (CWAH)

The EUSR Working at Height Safety & Rescue course provides comprehensive training for personnel who are required to work safely at height and respond effectively in rescue situations.

This 2 day EUSR endorsed programme is designed to raise industry standards by delivering a recognised qualification combining theory, legislation, and practical rescue skills. Learners develop the knowledge and hands-on competence needed to operate safely in high-risk elevated environments and to assist in emergency rescue scenarios.

Successful completion ensures workers are equipped to safely perform work at height tasks and implement effective rescue procedures, helping reduce workplace incidents and improving overall site safety performance

Legislation, Regulations and Safe Systems of Work

• Hierarchy of working at height controls

• Selection and use of Personal Fall Protection Equipment (PFPE)

• Practical use of Constant Rate Descender rescue kits

Delegates are assessed using a combination of:

Theory Assessment

• Written assessment covering legislation, equipment use and safe working practices

Practical Assessment

• Demonstration of working at height skills
• Safe use of PFPE
• Practical rescue scenarios and equipment use

Both elements must be successfully completed to achieve certification. 

On successful completion, delegates receive:
